I finished 5 dresses this weekend. Two of them I made last Saturday, 29-Apr-2017 -
and 3 I completed today.
But it looks like the cabinet I have with fabrics from my personal collection has not moved at all inspite of the 31 dresses I have been sewing so far. I need to do something about this in the next few weeks as I need back the space occupied by fabrics.

Feedback Dress Distribution #108 - Vietnam
Today I received this letter from the Christina Noble's Children Foundation of Ho Chi Minh Vietnam acknowledging the dresses I took and gave to them when I visited Ho Chi Minh early this month.
Also received a couple of pictures taken when the dresses were given to the kids.
Visiting the foundation was a very great and memorable experience for me especially that we were able to spend some time with the children they were taking care of from babies to about 6 year olds. The kids loved it when you played and gave them hugs. It was an experience to treasure and a real great treat for the soul. My heartfelt thanks to the foundation for accommodating us very well during the visit.

Keeping on Sewing for 2017 Marathon
This weekend I made 4 dresses for my Keep on Sewing 2017 Marathon...and more to come. I really need to step up on this marathon so I could clear at least one side of my cabinet that is full of fabrics.

Vietnam visit - 5-Apr-2017
Handed over the 25 dresses I handcarried for the kids at the foundation, donated some money and experienced a well-spent two hours hugging and playing with babies and toddlers at the foundation. A great food for the soul and great experience to cherish forever. Thank you to Piers Birtwistle, Public Relations Vietnam of Christina Noble Children's Foundation - Vietnam for the time he spent taking us around the ophanage. Much appreciated.

"Keep on Sewing" 2017 Marathon by Dress A Girl Australia
It is time to start a sewing marathon for the year 2017. Below are the first 3 dresses I made tonight to officially start the marathon. These dresses I will be taking with me when I visit Vietnam in early April.
I have not really been sewing that much especially last year. I have been relying mostly on donated dresses. I started this campaign where almost 50% of the total dresses I distribute were personally sewn by me and I hope this marathon will help bring me back to that stage. My target is 14 dresses to be completed by the end of this week to complete my Vietnam Collection.

P.O. Box is closed
Just a reminder to everyone and I do hope you all understand that the P.O. Box number I used to have is no longer open. No one and nobody should be sending anything at all to this P.O. Box number. As I have mentioned several times before I will not be responsible for anything or any contributions sent to this box. I know you want to make a difference and I am trying my best to help everyone but some people are not helping at all. I think everyone's understanding is not too much to ask. Thank you.
