One yucca at a time...one dress for a disadvantaged kid at a time

I did a cleanup of my backyard and I still have a few more yucca cuttings to sell as mentioned in my previous posting. Cut your own yucca or as many yuccas as you want  for $6.00 per cut. The popular choice of gardeners and landscape designers!   There are about 10-15 yuccas that you can cut.

This plant is mature and established. They can take sometime to grow into as big as what you are getting! 

The plant you see in the photos is the actual plant. They make a bold statement in any garden and look good as a features in gardens, courtyards, landscapes. They also look beautiful in pots. It brings an architectural look to any garden beds, especially with modern designs. 

These plants are easy to establish and maintain. While they prefer full sun and sandy soil, they can grow practically anywhere, including shady spots, rockery, coastal gardens, and pots. These  beautiful plants can cost $40++ each for a size like these in nurseries and garden stores! 

If you want an instant garden, this is for you.  This is a hardy and mature plant, it will not die. It is ready for planting! Once it is planted, it will grow roots again. I have propagated my plants this way and they all survived!  There is no postage for delivery of these plants as you are going to cut them and so is a pickup only at Casula (near Liverpool). Open for Dress donations

Dress A Girl Australia is open for dress donations between the size of 8 t0 10 years old for girls. I am not in a good financial position to distribute large quantities of dresses so there will be a limit of dresses to be donated by individuals and/or groups. Only 8 dresses will be accepted per individual and 15 dresses only for a group. These dresses will be distributed in the Philippines in October so please make sure you send your donations after Sept 23, 2018 but on or before Oct 5. to make sure someone is around to accept parcels. Deliveries for regular parcels now takes a week or more so please note the dates.

Feedback Dress Distribution #117 - Christmas for South Africa Parcel #2

Received an email today from South Africa confirming receipt of the second parcel I sent last January 18, 2018.

Also, Joan has advised that she could not send pictures of the distribution of the first parcel as they were damaged and blurry. This is for everyone's info especially those individuals and/or groups who contributed to the first parcel sent. Acknowledgement of donation made to the Christina Noble Children's Foundation (Australia) for their Vietnam Project

Received an email today from the Christina Noble Children's Foundation (Australia) acknowledging the amount of $564.00 donated for their Clean Water Tank project in Vietnam. These donations came from Dress A Girl Australia's Dress Sponsorship Program. The amount donated will be able to provide almost four clean water tanks for the poor people in Vinh Long province.
