Today, I finally had the chance to go to the postoffice to send the two parcels of dresses and quilts to Uganda.
These parcels should reached Uganda in 12 weeks. Thank you to those who donated the dresses and the quilts and most especially the donors who sponsored dresses from my Dress Sponsorship Program. Without their sponsorships, these parcels wouldnt have been possible. Thank you. Much appreciated.

New Mini Collection - Dress Distribution #104 for PNG Orphans
I am starting a mini special collection for these six girls from Papua New Guinea. Thought this time I will provide them with long skirts and matching t-shirts to wear as tops. This way I am sure that the complete attire of t-shirt tops and skirt will be long and cover their knees and can last them for a while as they seem to grow so quickly.
The t-shirts were donated by my sister Joan and the 2 skirts were fabrics donated by the Millhouse Collections. I still have four more t-shirts to match with skirts I am hoping that I will be able to sew when I have the time. I will also include 30pcs of exercise books and few pencils and pens for their school supplies from my 2016 Education without Borders small collection to help a little with their education.
If there is anyone who would like to donate a skirt, please send me a message at dressagirlaustralia@gmail.com. The skirt is simply made of 100% cotton fabric with elastic on the waist. I am sure these girls will treasure them.
** Update on 4 skirts : these has been taken. You can still help by donating a pair of school socks for these 6 girls. ****
Thank you.

New project open : Dress Distribution #102 - School Starter Distribution - 06/2016
Today I am opening a new project for Dress Distribution #102 - School Starter Distribution schedule for distribution in July 2016.
Since this collection is for school-aged children, all dress sizes should be between the age of 8 to 10 (Size 8 to 10). If you are donating clothes for boys, sizes of t-shirts and/or pairs of shorts should also be between size 8 to 10.
There will be a maximum number of dresses that can be donated to this distribution due to a limit in the funds that will be used to pay for the cost of distribution.
For individuals, a maximum number of 6 dresses will be allowed.
For groups, a maximum number of 20 dresses will be allowed.
If you want to donate more than what is allowed, a donation of a gold coin ($2.00) per dress is needed to help pay for the cost of distributions as the parcel becomes more heavy.
Make sure that the dress guidelines are met and no flimsy materials are used. If you are using ribbons, do not use ribbons that are meant for gift-wrapping. I do not do repairs so please make sure you follow the guidelines.
Cut-off date for donations is Friday, 15th of July 2016.
If you are donating, please send an email to dressagirlaustralia@gmail.com for postal address.
Thank you.

Still no parcel pickups at postbox
As I have repeated several times before, no one should be sending me parcels especially at this time where I have no spare time to go to the postoffice to collect and no active collection project for distribution. There will still be no collections at the postbox (as in previous months). Thank you.
