Feedback on dresses with sleeves

No dress made today as am spending my time sorting and packing dresses. I appreciate very much the dresses that you make and send but to all those who are making dresses with sleeves or peasant style dresses, please do not be offended but please do not make the neckline of the dress too wide as the dress might fall off the child wearing it. This is the first time am packing dresses with sleeves and I noticed that some necklines are too wide. Even if the neckline has an elastic, I think some are still too wide. Dresses with sleeves are going to Asian countries such as India, Bangladesh where sleeves are required but these children are not of heavy build. Please take this comment positively as a guide to making a more beautiful dress and one that a child can enjoy wearing. Thanks everyone!

Donation Acknowledgements FY2012 #86 - from Liz of Gundaroo

I need to do a lot of catching up in acknowledging donations the same way I need to do a lot more sewing. :-) Anyway, donation #86 are 3 pillowcase dresses and 5 peasant dresses from Liz Lynzaat of Gundaroo. Liz was introduced to Dress A Girl Around the World by her good friend Frances Cornish.
Thank you so much for dresses, Liz. Much appreciated.

It is always nice to know how people feel when making dresses for Dress A Girl Around the World . It makes your day! It makes one feel alive knowing that anytime soon a girl somewhere will be handed a dress that she could call her own. Would you like to feel the same kind of happiness we feel when making dresses? Then come and join us in making a difference in the lives of disadvantaged children somewhere out there. You will not regret it.
