MBCCD #2 Unless the parcel is actually opened, I never know what the contents are, where it actually came from and who was responsible for sewing and sending. It is the note inside the parcel that tells me all about it. And for this particular donation which is #123 in the acknowledgment list and the second contribution to the Christmas charity drive, the dresses actually came from Betty, the 85-year old mum of Sharyn Paull. The fabrics were bought by Betty and given to daughter Sharyn to sew. The cost to send the dresses to Dress A Girl Australia was paid for by mum Betty too and posted by Sharyn. A mum and daughter teamwork in making a difference to the lives of 10 disadvantaged girls anywhere in the world.
Here are the dresses sewn by Sharyn on behalf of her mother Betty -
To Sharyn, thank you for making the dresses and please extend my heartfelt thank you to your mum Betty for finding her own way of contributing to the cause of dressing the less fortunate girls around the world. Thank you ladies. Much appreciated.
