Donations on behalf of the winning bidders(Charity Auction) Batch 3

This is the third and last batch of dresses donated on behalf of the winning bidders in the first Charity Auction for Dress A Girl Australia last Nov 2-7, 2012. Due to circumstances beyond my control (actually it was under my control but I gave priority to another Dress A Girl Australia task which I believe greatly benefitted the less fortunate children around the world) this acknowledgement is delayed but here it is.

The third and last batch of dresses and pairs of shorts are for the following donors and bidders:
1) Donor - Cassie Ashley                               Winner - Rachel Platt

2) Donor - Delcie Wardrop                           Winner - Elizabeth Rowland

3) Donor - Dress A Girl Australia & Katherine Nott           Winner - Frances Cornish

4) Donor - Katherine Nott                                         Winner - Fabi Sun

5) Donor - Katherine Nott                                          Winner - Rose Preston
My heartfelt thanks to all the donors and for the support provided by the winning bidders of the charity auction. Thank you for making the auction a big success. And my special thanks to Katherine for organizing the event. Thank you everyone. Thank you for your kindness and generosity. Much appreciated.

    1. Hi Christie,
Its good you ask because I keep on forgetting it. I only received the dress for the bidder and not the one to donate. Did you send it separately?
      Thanks,
      Gigi

    2. Hi Gigi,
Yes I sent the donation dress about 3 weeks earlier than the bidder dress (as originally the bidder dress was going to a different recipient). I will make another to donate to replace it if you can't locate it.
      Cheers,
      Christie

    3. Hi Christie, I have actually opened all the parcels that were put in pending in my list(parcels received for almost a month) and everything seems to be accounted for. Will go to the post office monday morning and am going to make enquiries. (am still off from work next week so have more time)i remember a few weeks ago the guy at the counter took back one of the cards they left in my box when i came to claim. the guy said they made a mistake putting the card in my box. now am wondering if that was really meant for box 240. will let you know.
thanks and have a lovely christmas!

    4. Hi Christie,
Hope this message finds you well. Went to the postoffice twice (the guy at the counter asked me to come back the next day) and they could not find the parcel. The problem is if they had mistakenly put the parcel in a different box number then they would not be able to find or recover it. Sorry about that.
      Thanks,
      Gigi
