I just received this message about an hour ago letting me know that the parcels I have sent to Tacloban and Eastern Samar Philippines has been received. Marge de la Cruz of the Guiuan Development Foundation, Inc. said it is very timely because Tacloban will be celebrating their 'fiesta' on the 30th of June almost seven months after the area was heavily hit by Typhoon Haiyan
'Fiesta' is a spanish word for a festive celebration or holiday which could be of a religious nature and usually they hold carnivals, dances and lots of food for everyone. A perfect time for the kids to wear and show off their new dresses.

Thank you Marge for finding the time to send me this message. Much appreciated.
